So which one of those is comparable to a T3/T4E 57 trim compressor, Stage 3 turbine, 3" inlet and a .63 AR? And how about with a 360' thrust washer option?
Thanks.

that specific size you refer to would be the to4e 57 trim but if you are referring to an ebay special (knock offs) it would be a 50 trim not a 57 trim as stated on ebay this list is just a base list of turbos there are many configurations of the turbos available

No not from Ebay. I was shopping around for a T3/T4 and a turbo shop that deals with Garrett turbos suggested this configuration for what I wanted in power and streetability. Basically I was shooting for 400hp+ at or near 26psi or so for bench talk and want 325hp at around 15psi or so with decent spool up. Stock engine, .080 spacer, Tony's secondaries, Ghetto intercoooler, Ghetto header, etc.
Basically what old Motorhead from SH.org had available for his Stage II ghettos.

I would go with a 50 trim compressor. When pushed it will support ~475-480hp and is a good mix of broad, area under the curve power and top end.

i would either go 50 trim or 57 trim both would work well with the busa
here is the brochure that came with my turbo as you can tell this is a very nice shop where these are built
and for those that dont know they are using Deawoo lathes and that is the brand lathe my tool room uses at work lol

Can you tell me how a 50 trim differs from a 57 trim in terms of street performance? I'm about ready to get one and just checking to make the best decision. Oh, I am also at 5300' and over 250lbs. I will be using a small shot of nitrous from around 3k to 5k to assist in spool up for the street. Just because I guess......I use to run nitrous in all of my turbo apps in my cars.

sorry for the delay the 50 trim will spool faster and make a little less power the 57 trim will make more power but spool a little later id say 500-1000 rpms in spool difference (if that much) and 50-75 hp difference (at the most on the peak end of the power)

I'll take a GTK 450 Chris. When I decide to upgrade that is. Those are ceramic bb right? I wonder if the spooling is that much different than a similar journal bearing.

IVe got a ceramic dual ball bearing and i can tell u this. Compaired to the Rayjay it spins crazy easier. So i would say it would have to spool faster.

Do these have the 360' thrust washers? I'm about to order one up but I have to wait on some money from my refinance, momma won't let me spend yet. Should be here anyday now.

I have to pass for now. I just found out a friend mine is a dealer for Garrett and can get one it at cost with HPC coating for only a few dollars. Good thing as I just incurred another debt as my car broke a transmission.....if it ain't one thing it's another.
Thanks for your efforts Chris and sorry for any inconvenience.
