Well one funds come in be ordering a new or modded swingarm for my Busa.  Debating on which one would be best and would like some opinions.  Swingarm will be a 0"-6" Extended Arm.  Choices right now is either modded stock or 600 Arm, aftermarket chromoly or aluminum swingarm.

Mine is about 2 to 5 over & set at 4. it is stock nice work on it. see my build. Also now Gsxturbo is going to take the box off & tube the bottom. Clean it up a lot that way. thumbs  up

I also have did chrome-moly k-members on my stangs. very nice for track do to way lighter than mild steel but cracked more after long use. Not sure the difference on a bike for CM to aluminum.

WoW. Then  _Wolfman_  as a big choice. The next thing is the cost on going from one to the other . Does the cost weight the difference in weight. Price from modded to a C-Moly one?

Like a k-member is 75.oo more from mild steel to C-Moly. so Do It. BUT an alumina DART block is 4500.oo to a Man-O-War iron block being 2000.oo. Stay with M-O-W unless you really want a extra 40 or 50 lbs off that bad.

Or, put in a Little M and make some real power  laughing7

IMO, aftermarket alumium looks the best, but also costs the most. How much power are you trying to put down? Cheapest is probably a stocker extended.

Might as well get a 2-6 or 4-6 cause once you go long...

Right now just motor but trying to plan for the future. Minimum arm will be going with s 0"-6" but thinking now to have the extra length down the road if needed either a 2"-8" or 3"-9" will be the arm of choice just gives me more options.

To long of an arm for the set-up I am going for need something in the 0""-6" range. Planing on setting bike up at about 5" to leave room for adjustment.

Haven't installed it yet,  got a smoking deal on a Canadian Mike 0-4" Swingarm from my buddy Heavybusa.  Once installed be setting bike up at 62" wheelbase.  Not planning anything for crazy power.  Right now just have Exhaust, Air-Box Mod, Pipercross Filter, 4 OEM Long Stacks, and Power Commander.  Thinking down the road may do more upgrades to the motor but would like to stay all motor without power adders.  Looking at possibly '08 Crank, high Compression Pistons, Port and Polish the Head and set of cams, nothing to radical.  Have heard nothing but good things from anyone who has ever bought a 600 Swingarm from Canadian Mike.  There are alot of prostreet busa's out there running his 6"-12" extended 600 arms and have not heard one complaint just praise.

im not knocking anyone by any means. i too was gonna get a 600 arm modded, but ran across an old thread on the suzuki hayabusa.org site bout the 600 arm not lining up right, then you having to use the 600 knuckle. im sure they do work, seen lots of them and heard lots of guys using them and have heard lots of good things, jus not for me though
