wow, you guys are way to kind. i'm not much on posting and i should have introduced myself first, it seems like there is a great bunch of guys here and this is really a neat site for us turbo guys. i probably know less about a turbo than 90% of you guys on here so i will learn alot from you guys.
next week i head back to maxton and hopefully will go faster. at the last event the bike kept coming up in the front and traction was an issue. i have taken some lead bricks and cut them to where i can bolt them to the under bracing on my swingarm, hopefully i can add at least 25 lbs. to the 35 lbs i already added earlier. still trying to figure out how to add another 20 lbs to the front. daveO has freshened up the motor and added a spray bar to the intercooler radiator ( got to get them temps down somehow ). my last time at maxton i had to stay up on the tank to keep the tire on the ground and that wasnt very aero effiecient, i am trying to locate a lower profile tank and if i do that will help alot.
i am so amped up about getting back out there and doing it again that i cant sleep at night. i lay there in bed and go over the run time and time again. i can picture the run all the way to the end, 12 days and counting.

damn thats some good reading, charlie you da man wish there was a way you could mount a camara on that monster some how. its just crazy that thing still has more in it to. i also like the fact that you hold that thing open for a mile, the turbos around my house are lucky to make a 1/4 mile without melting. well its cool having you on here, good luck to you at the next event. |
