This section is for questions and answers on the Interface board for the 99-07 Hayabusa.
This is the first run of boards (10) V 1.0 they will directly interface (plug and play) into the stock wiring harness of the 99-07 Suzuki Hayabusa you will still need a Megasquirt 2.2 or 3.0 to run the bike all this does is house the extra circuits needed to run the bike plus lots more.

Sure PCB123 is who i used for these Sunstone circuits is who actually done them but the software is from PCB123 i ordered them and four days later they where on their way back and these are 4 layer boards with solder mask and silkscreen. They done an excellent job on them and i will probably use them again.

The software i use dosent have Gerber files BUT i think they can use gerber files im not sure i can find out though or i could wip you up the same board in a few minutes in my software its pretty small so it shouldnt take too long. The price depends on quantity and what you want silk screen solder mask or not hell i could even do it in SMT for you and i would solder them for you if you wanted. I can qoute you a price for them if you want to PM me the details on the options you want .

Pics of the ECU connectors for the board.

More to come when i have a chance to work on it again.

Jesus-

Ok
now-I am lost again...

This setup will replace the Stock ECU, and take control of the Secondaries at the same time correct?

OH yes no stock ECU needed at all this will take the place of it all you would still need a MS as all this is,is a interface to the stock harness and houses all the circuits to make the MS run the motor, plus do all the secondary stuff for turbo ,nos control, boost control, general purpose outputs, shift lights, fan control, and hopefully dash data soon also.

Well i havent decided yet as i want to test everything out first im trying to keep it low enough that anybody can have the option to buy one without a second mortgage on their house.LOL

I hope to sell it setup and ready to go for under 750.00 for the interface box alone it would be cheaper if the connectors where a little cheaper and easier to source and the components are not cheap either some of the chips and mosfets are 4.00 apiece and it takes about 6 hours to assemble and test the board plus the case machining but for the price its a real good deal for what you would get i think .

We will see how it goes and as always im pretty easy to work with on prices so if someone really, really , wants one i can see what i could do.LOL

Here is a simple pic diagram of how it is setup to work the interface goes between the MS and the stock harness.

Well since we have had a ton of snow land on our area today i worked on the board a little i have the wiring done from the interface to the MS and i have my Jimstim hooked to the Interface board and everything seems to be working just fine.

So far the ignition kill and auto shift are working the spare injector drivers are working properly all the sensor inputs seem to be doing fine and the Tach circuit works (on the cluster) cleanly to 15000 even though the gauge dosent go that far LOL the 4 general purpose relay's work as they should and the transistor arrays are working properly.

Things i still need to go over and make sure they are working properly is the VR circuits ( i used the exact same circuit layout i used when i had it running with the daughter boards) and i still need to work on the coolant gauge to see if i can get that to work also but thats not a super high priority right now.

I have a Dual processor board installed into the MS so i will be testing some more outputs in the next few days on the bench and make sure everything is up to par.

Its looking real good so far but until i actually install it on the bike i wont know for sure but we shall see soon how it works. thumbs  up
