So, I'm sitting here in my chair and thinking (I know, bad idea),  "I wonder if a Gen 2 crank, rods and turbo pistons will drop in to my 07?".

I'm thinking of going that way because it is my understanding that I wouldn't have to use a spacer with the gen 2 rotating assembly.  Also, I would gain the extra 40cc's of displacement, which is bound to give me a little more bottom end.

So the question is, will it fit?  If so, are there any tricks or tips anyone has?  I've already looked at the Wossner pistons and rods.  Where can I get a crank?

So, gen 2 crank rods and piston, corresponding bearings, and no spacer. That's it? It is really that simple?

Its still best to check deck height and piston clearances but yes that is what it takes to do that mod
