piston rings

Whats your method to putting the pistons in the cylinders? I know what the manual says. The dealership wanted to charge me 136 dollars for the "special" suzuki tool. Before I bought it, I just wanted to see how the Turbobikes.org community does it..
Ive been told that with a careful hand and alot of patience, you can actually squeeze the rings in with your fingers and use a flathead screwdriver. Obviously, this method is for the more advanced builder.
I have also been told that you can use zipties on the rings to get them in the cylinder.
what other method do you use or what other tool do you use?

You may laugh but it works. You see a large shipping package/ box usually on a pallet and that wide plastic strapping that holds it about 3/4" wide (it's usually black or green in color) well I used that I cut a piece about 20" and bent a 90 on one end about 6" up and made a loop kinda like an adel clamp and put a ziptie or two on it put some oil on the inside put on piston and pull it in ,zipties hold enough tension on it to hold in the rings. I made 2 .

I used large hose clamps with oil. Worked fine.

I used my fingers. I was amazed at how easy it was. I was making it alot harder than it needed to be.
