Flange Gasket

Hey guys, quick ? Do you run a gasket between the header flange and the turbo flange? I always have but I had a guy (who does turbo work) tell me he never runs one. Huh?

I bought the steel flange gasket in 2005 just in case, but it still resides in the tool box..
