I,ve heard for years that hot water freezes before cold water. Didnt sound rite so I put a bowl of hot & cold and 1/4 gal of straight antifreeze outside in 15 degree weather, cold froze first & antifreeze did not freeze.

Boiled water will freeze before unboiled. Boiling removes some of the oxygen I think, and allows it to freeze quicker. I think this is correct.....

just go out when it is 10 below and throw a big glass of hot water in the air and a big glass of cold water in the air (not the glass. just the water). you will see the difference.
