You cut a set of gsxr forks? Didn't know if you only did the busa forks or if you did all forks.
if they are inverted then yes the standard forks are a little harder to do inverted forks are alot easier let me see them some time and we can see

Well I'd give ya a set of inverted forks to do. I just gota figure out if the 750 and 600 are the same MM wise. I know the 750/1000 forks are inverted, but I know that the 600 has 45mm clip-ons vs the 1000 having 50mm.

Well the 04+ 600s have 50mm clip ons, and the 003/01-02 750/1000 have 50mm clip-ons. So I'll probably be looking for the 01-02 1000 forks or the 750 forks(whichever is cheaper) and just swap the entire front end assembly.

Could you lower the 600 forks though, if I can't find a set of the others?

Pinky, have more questions. will the cut forks have less travel? If I dont use a strap any more won't I go back to pulling the front end off the line due to the fork travel? is having them cut different than just sending them up through the trippleclamp? thanks for the info

yes shorter travel yes different then sliding threw tree the forks are allowed to travel keeping the front tire on the ground better (for better control IMHO) the forks would bottom out before the bike parts due to less travel I run a stock tree and the forks bottom out before the bike does I prefer cut and always will too my bike head shook with a turbo and a strap

If I send you my forks to cut can you replace a leaky seal? how long does it take you to do them? do you know how low you can go? I have a aftermarket tree and want to keep it. I think a tree lowers it a inch if I remember right ,can I cut my forks 2.5".... I do have cut fairings and a 2" pan..thanks and please let me know

itchy has 2 with a tree that lets him get 3. that is the best way. Pinky is the best we have seen at this & he would not want to take away from anyones idea or ride. BUT he would do his best to keep it safe & working great. Just some info to think off...

let me see if I can find any pictures to get a better idea. I did see the ones posted but they arent the greatest pictures. My bike bike is at 68" and I would like to have it low as possbile so my sorry butt can launch it harder. How far does a aftermarket tree lower a Busa,1"?
