When Im at the track I yank the crap out of my strap so I can only fit my fingers in between the fender and upper, but on the street its only about an inch lowered.Do you still strap the rest at the track if you cut it in the middle of street / strip?

when you, "yank the crap out of my strap" and grab a little break at the end, this is what can happen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAa2s9xvAEcBC

it depends on your oil pan and tree and a few other things like the height of the back if it is used with a stock tree then it wont be much different then stock because you aren't changing the position just shortening the travel
id say 2 or 2.5 would be fine especially at 66" wheelbase

I still have my stock tree so I can put that back on if needed and Im at 66" wheelbase and lower it as low as I can in the back without hitting maybe 2-3"? I also have a 2" Koenig pan.Im seriously considering this after seeing that video.I just got new seals put in can they be reused or do you need new? Does the $150 include whatever is needed or are the parts costs also.

seals can be reused cause they arent hurt when shortened this includes all but shipping you would just need to set it at stock height into the tree the aftermarket is fine just dont slide threw to lower more

After I get my datalog squared away Ill pull off the forks and send them your way. Is there anyway for me to measure to see where they will sit at 2" and 2.5" compared to where I had them strapped at?

Could I measure the spacer that I have right now to use for how much to cut down. I'm using the lowering bushing for the front right now. I think it is 1 1/2"

yes and no you wont get the same results because you arent getting the same movement as with a cut fork because you are more like a stock bike just shortened with less travel

You cut a set of gsxr forks? Didn't know if you only did the busa forks or if you did all forks.
