no bottoming out
no strap (which isnt allowed in multiple classes)

fork travel still retained but at a less distance (unlike a strap)

ive street rode for 2 years with no problems

do you see super street bikes with straps?
or prostreet bikes with them? ama rules dont allow them

it allows the front tire to stay on the ground for better control in my honest opinion
i didnt wheel more then 6 inches with this setup on my turbo bike and i was launching at 8500 rpms

strapping and to much brake is what caused Steve to crash so I'm all about making it safer.
will the bike center in the fork travel that is left or set at the top? are the forks stiffer?
how much do you generally cut them? how much travel left?
as you have guessed I know nothing about cut forks

i cut the amount you want removed
the will set as they do stock just shorter
if you want i can add a little spring rate by not removing as much from the sping spacer
a lot of them have been 2-2.5 inches removed

When looking at the cut one and uncut, why does one look shorter than the other one?

Any pics of the cut forks on the bike? Whats a good recommended amount of cut for street and strip use or is it one or the other?

id say street stip would be 2"
strip 2.5"
street only 1.5-2"
i can shorten them to almost any length youd desire though

i can also add a littel spring rate by adding a little more spring spacer if wanting a stiffer spring also

the pics of my bike are cut at 2.5 inches

these arent the best shots of the forks though
